Big B stopped endorsing Colas after it was called ‘poison’
after a little girl asked him why he endorsed a product her teacher labelled as poison.
Referring to this as a wake up call, Bachchan narrated the incident which happened during an event in a school in Jaipur. The girl had confronted him with this question and he confessed that he had no reply at that time.
What struck him was the attitude of the people towards Pepsi. ‘...So I stopped endorsing Pepsi’, said Amitabh while addressing the audience at the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, which comprised of IIM – A students, faculty members and officials of Gujarat Tourism.

Bollywood’s favourite star Amitabh Bachchan recently opened his heart and spoke candidly to Outlook about the 3 Khans of Bollywood - Shah Rukh, Aamir and Salman. The magazine had a Khan special issue this month as they turn 50 this year. The magazine had quotes and features on how the three Khans have shaped how we laugh and cry, sing and dance, love and live.
Big B had a candid chat with the magazine in this context.
Big B accepted that the three Khans have taken the film industry by storm and praised each of them for their unique qualities.
He said that SRK’s self-confidence, energy and determination is enviable while Aamir is a uniquely creative person. He went on to add that Salman has the wonderful ability to live a carefree life.
AB added that the three stalwart Khans entered the film industry at a time when the audience wanted a change from the boring morality based cinema. These three provided fresh vistas of ideas and concepts with their work and the audience loved them for this.
Bachchan senior went on to say that each of the three Khans is different from the others as each has his own capabilities and talents which make each one charming and lovable. He said that in spite of their stardom the three are utterly humble human beings and always respect him. He remembered having worked with Shah Rukh and Salman as co-stars but he hasn’t worked with Aamir yet except for Lagaan where he lent his voice as the commentator.
